Working on video used to suck. So we made meetings fun.
Remember the chaos of 2020? We sure do. We loved the balance and empowerment working from anywhere unleashed. Spending all day on video calls? Not so much.
Our first incarnation, mmhmm, started life as a party trick. Created by All Turtles product studio, mmhmm was built on the belief that making a video should feel as effortless as sending a text message and as human as a coffee break chat. Lots of people agreed, and soon we had backing from renowned investors including Sequoia Capital, Softbank Vision Fund, and others.

Today, we’re building something bigger.
Fast-forward to now, and a lot has changed. But working on video is here to stay. And the need for better tools keeps expanding.
Video powers distributed teams, the creator economy, online education, sales, and more. Yet for most people, meetings are still dull and fatiguing, and recordings are time-consuming and difficult. That’s a poor use of a powerful medium.
